Nothing says I love you more than “Spamalot”

On Valentine’s Day what says love more than SPAM.  Better yet, what would make the perfect present for your sweetie more than tickets to a guaranteed night of hilarity and song? We’re thinking something along the lines of  Monty Python’s “Spamalot” which is coming to the Opelika Center for the Performing Arts on February 15th.

The show includes flying cows, killer rabbits, beautiful showgirls, and of course SPAM.  It won the 2005 Tony Award for best show and will win your heart as well (okay maybe when your valentine is finished with it!)

We challenge anyone not to think of romance when viewing this trailer for the show:

Maybe romance is the wrong word but there are certainly die hard Python fans out there who are definitely passionate about “Spamalot” and you may even know (or love) one of them.  Why not treat them to an evening with the Knights who say “Ni”!

Ever want to know the red-hot, seething, behind-the-scenes gossip about the cast of Monty Python’s Spamalot: North American Tour? Well it’s still a mystery, but we learned loads of interesting things in our interview produced for Troy Public Radio’s Community Focus from “Spamalot’s” Jacob Smith who plays Sir Galahad and the Black Knight.
