The Arts Association of East Alabama

Founded in 1965 as the Opelika Arts Association, that amateur painting club has evolved through more than four decades into a fully professional presenting and arts education organization know today as The Arts Association of East Alabama.

The Opelika Train Depot

The box office and administrative offices of the The Arts Association of East Alabama are housed in the historic Opelika Train Depot. Originally constructed in 1922, the Depot is thought to be the fourth and final construction of a station in Opelika.

The Opelika Center for the Performing Arts

The Opelika Center for the Performing Arts is an 1100 seat hall that has been host to none other than twenty-two international orchestras, fifty nationally touring Broadway productions, twenty-one major ballet and dance companies, and twenty-one jazz celebrities and popular entertainers.
