REAL CHALLENGES!
Hosting world-class artists, international performance ensembles, and national-tour Broadway shows right here at home is a huge point of pride for our community. It is also an enormous fiscal undertaking when artist fees, production expenses, labor costs, marketing, and administrative services are factored in for contracts that require one to three years advance commitment. Since ticket prices alone do not balance the ledger, the challenge for additional resources is clear.

Since the opening of the Opelika Center for the Performing Arts in 1987 - 88, our goal has been to create dynamic stage experiences for our community through signature ares events that are second to none and affordable for all. Now at 30 seasons and counting, enlightened citizens from throughout East Alabama understand the positive impact of the arts on a community's quality of life; and they are committed to providing the ongoing resources needed for those high-caliber opportunities normally available only in larger metropolitan areas. “Subscriptions” = Season Tickets
East Alabama Arts has a NO REFUND policy, but if you are unable to attend a performance for which you purchased tickets, you may transfer (give) them to someone else, or donate them back as a tax-deductible contribution.
