Gold medalist of the Fifteenth Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, 28-year-old pianist Yekwon Sunwoo has been hailed for “his total command over the instrument and its expressiveness” (San Francisco Examiner). A powerful and virtuosic performer, he also, in his own words, “strives to reach for the truth and pure beauty in music,” and hopes to convey those fundamental emotions to audiences.
The Prague Philharmonic Children’s Choir was founded in 1932 by Jan Kühn, a distinguished singer, director and choirmaster. Originally founded for the needs of the Czech Radio in Prague, the choir gained notoriety and in 1952 became part of the Czech Philharmonic, and remained so for forty years.

Tine continues embarking on regular tours with her ten-piece, all-female brass ensemble, tenThing. An idea that started in 2007 as a fun and exciting project to pursue with her closest musical friends, the group have gone on to play to numerous European audiences
Set in 1860’s Bangkok, the musical tells the story of the unconventional and tempestuous relationship that develops between the King of Siam and Anna Leonowens, a British schoolteacher whom the modernist King, in an imperialistic world, brings to Siam to teach his many wives and children. All seating is reserved. Parking is free.
Tickets may be purchased in advance (recommended) online, by phone, in person or by mail.
Tickets may also be purchased on the night of the event at the Performing Arts Center Box Office starting at 6:30PM CST.
